Event Description

Everyone is familiar with that “hitting a wall” feeling when you haven’t eaten properly, or feeling like you’re surrounded by junk food while in the office. However, a healthy diet in the office doesn’t have to be complicated or mean you can’t partake in the occasional treat.

In this 1-hour interactive session we will discuss:

  • Benefits of healthy eating
  • What does a balanced plate look like?
  • Importance of regular meal timing
  • Potential challenges to healthy eating at work
  • Steps to eat healthy during your workday
  • Meal planning/prepping

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe how eating well can impact your life.
  • Understand macronutrients and their roles in our health.
  • Recognize how regular mealtimes impact blood sugars, and peaks and dips in energy levels.
  • Plan and prepare healthy meals for work
